On behalf of an important multinational company with a leading position inside the Cardiovascular market, we are looking for a:
SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS MANAGER
The Scientific Affairs Manager reports directly to the CMO and will be the head of a wide team of medical and clinical resources and is going to support other internal divisions (Clinical Affairs, R&D, Marketing, Quality and Business Development) from a clinical and scientific point of view. More specifically, he/she cooperates in the design and development of clinical studies and patients’ selection activities, he/she provides statistical tools and reports for studies and registries, he/she keeps the main database constantly updates, manages all the case report forms and sets up the data-mining program. Moreover, he/she provides information and data to support all the clinical, technical and risk analyses, he/she defines and manages all the scientific writings, abstracts and manuscripts in cooperation with the marketing division and the CEO.
SOME ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- He/she ensures literature searches review is shared with the right departments;
- He/she alerts about new clinical trends or potential risks to the patients;
- He/she carries out some analysis in order to answer to specific requests and provides corresponding reports;
- He/she participates in Medical Advisory Board Meetings.
The ideal candidate has got a degree in medical, lifescience or healthcare-related subjects. He/she should have a previous experience of almost 5 years (or more) in similar roles or in clinical project management positions inside multinational medical devices or healthcare companies.
Moreover, he/she should have good leadership skills. He/she must be able to interact with different kinds of people and to lead and guide a wide team towards the achievement of important targets. Finally, he/she should be able to speak English fluently.
